Linda's Meatloaf

Linda's Meatloaf
(serves 4-6)

  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs

  • "Season Salt" to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1 egg

  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix powder

  • water-approx. 1/2 cup


*Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

*In a bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly together, using enough water to form a firm, moist loaf.

*Place loaf into baking dish or loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.  Do not over-cook.

The gravy cooking inside the meatloaf gives it a wonderful flavor, and the meatloaf is nice and juicy!  The kids tell me it's the best meatloaf they ever had, better than Aunt Judy's!
