Grandmom's
Peaches and Cream Pie

  • ¾ C all purpose flour 

  • 1 (3 ¼ oz) package vanilla pudding mix (Not Instant!)

  • 1 teasp. baking powder

  • ½ teasp salt

  • 1 (15 to 20) oz can sliced

  • 1 egg

  • ½ C milk

  • 1 8oz package cream cheese

  • ½ C sugar

  • 1 Tbsp sugar

  • 3 Tbsp juice from canned fruit

  • ½ teasp ground cinnamon


*Combine flour, pudding mix, milk, egg and baking powder in bowl and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended.

*Pour into a greased 9 inch pie plate.

*Drain the fruit, reserving juice. Place the fruit on top of the filling.

*Beat together  cream cheese, ½ C sugar and juice for 2 minutes on medium speed. Spread this on top of the fruit to within 1 inch of the pan edge.

*Combine 1 Tbsp. sugar and cinnamon: sprinkle over top of cream cheese.

*Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Refrigerate after cooling.

Note: She happened on this late in life and passed it on because it was so delicious.~Pat
