Aunt Chris's Cinnamon Buns

  • Karo syrup

  • Pancake syrup

  • Walnuts or other nuts (to taste)

  • Maraschino cherries (to taste)

  • Raisins (to taste)

  • 4 cans Ballard or Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits (10 to a can)

  • Sugar & cinnamon, mixed to taste


*Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

*Mix together equal amounts Karo syrup and pancake syrup and pour into a Bundt pan until about ¾ inch deep.

*Place nuts, maraschino cherries and raisins into the syrup mixture in the pan.
 
*Open biscuit cans and separate individual biscuits

*Roll each biscuit in sugar & cinnamon mixture then layer them evenly into pan over top of the syrup.

*Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.  Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes, then invert pan onto plate and remove the pan.  You should have a beautiful cinnamon bun cake to enjoy!
